
The President of the Association, Gurgen Grigoryan, participated in the first session of the Public Council, during which the Minister of Justice, Srbuhi Galyan, presented the reforms being implemented and planned in the sector, touching upon digitalization, reducing the workload of the courts, anti-corruption strategy measures, and the work of the Constitutional Reform Council.
Gurgen Grigoryan highlighted the positive results recorded as a result of the public-private dialogue and thanked the Ministry for effective cooperation.
The President of the Association presented issues of concern to businessmen and proposals aimed at the stability of the investment environment, emphasizing the importance of ensuring a stable and predictable legal environment. He also touched upon the institute of the bona fide acquirer, lawsuits filed by the prosecutor's office, and problems arising from seizures in criminal cases, which affect the interests of both bona fide business operators and residents.
Proposals were also presented on the retroactive application of legal acts and the extrajudicial use of legal fiction, suggesting the development of the institute of complaint commissions in order to relieve the burden on administrative justice.
