The role of professional associations in Armenia is undergoing significant changes. If until recently they were perceived as a Soviet legacy - mere formal platforms for professional communities, today we are witnessing the formation of a new, substantive and active approach. New types of professional associations are not only trying to protect the interests of their members, but also to form a professional environment, influence sectoral legislation and ensure the circulation of knowledge among specialists.
